Georgia String Band Festival – Friday Night Kickoff Concert

The Fourteenth Annual Georgia String Band Festival will kick off on Friday, March 25, with “Roots Alive! An Evening Of Essential American Roots Music: Nine of our Finest Americana Musicians Reveal the Paths That Made America Best”. These award-winning artists represent the very best purveyors of our heritage tunes, and bring much skill in defining our great pride in the important local role creating American music recording. Members of such celebrated groups as The Georgia Crackers, The Tennessee Stiff Legs and The Squirrel Skinners will illuminate these Georgia-forged tunes with renewed energy and skill. The program begins at 7p.m., and admission is $15. A cash beer and wine bar will be available.
