Middle & High School Virtual Art Show

Artistic talent frequently shows up early in a child’s life, and the art teachers in Calhoun and Gordon County schools play a large part in nurturing this talent.  Each year the Harris Arts Center’s Visual Arts Guild hosts a show of artwork from local Middle and High School students.

The annual exhibit promotes art education and student talent in the public schools. The teachers from the participating schools are: Vincent Hartel – Ashworth Middle, Kate Johnson – Calhoun Middle/High 2D, Johnathan Elakman – Calhoun Middle/High 3D, Megan Greeson – Gordon Central, and Hannah Roddy – Sonoraville High.

The show is normally presented in the HAC Galleries in March, which is Arts in Our Schools Month.  However, this year the show will be entirely online through May 28.

Enjoy this amazing show.  The future of the arts in Gordon County is in good hands!
